Some prophecies fulfilled and some not as of yet

Here is a sample of prophecies. Know that prophecies make up approx. 27% of the Bible, seems to be important. Prophecies show in advance that God is God, knowing the beginning from the ending as only He can.

1. The seven-year peace agreement spoken of in Daniel 9:27 is a good place to start. Daniel 9:25-26 prophecies on the rebuilding of Jerusalem, then Christ’s arrival, gives a time line of seven-sevens then 62 sevens. The city is then rebuilt. After 62 sevens, Christ is on the cross. Prophecy showed that the Jewish Temple would be destroyed after Jesus’s death along with the destruction of the entire city with the remaining Jews being dispersed (70 A.D.), these were fulfilled. In verse 27, it speaks on a prophecy not yet completed. The covenant of seven years, then the breaking of the covenant in the middle (3 ½ years) when it states the abomination which causes desolation occurs (Matthew 24:15-21, Mark 13:14-19, Luke 21:20-23, Daniel 12). The verses in Matthew and Luke are speaking on the Abomination, and then in the following verses show the sun and moon being darkened, stars falling and heavenly bodies being shaken. An event not yet having occurred but a future event. We are told that when the abomination happens, the Jews will flee to Edom, Moab (Petra) and Ammon. This has not occurred yet. The passages address the Roman occupation and destruction of the Jewish homeland and Temple in 70 A.D. and then it moves to future events yet to occur.

2. We need to look at – 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 that speaks on the anti-Christ (man of lawlessness, the one doomed for destruction) and the Restrainer-Holy Spirit. It states that the anti-Christ will not be revealed until the Restrainer is removed. Not yet occurred as of our time. The Peace agreement will be signed by Israel and the anti-Christ, starting the seven year Tribulation (Daniel 9:27). This peace deal has not happened yet. Many leaders have tried but none has succeeded. According to the 2 Thessalonians passage, the Holy Spirit (Restrainer) will be removed prior to the arrival of the anti-Christ, again not happened yet.

3. Ezekiel 38 & 39 speak on a coming battle. Gog with their armies from the north (north of Israel is Russia) along with several other armies joined with them will attack Israel, with most of the attacking armies being killed. The cleanup of just the bodies by the Israelites will take seven months for the burials. This has not happened yet. Russia along with the armies spoken of (Persia-Iran, Cush-Ethiopia, Assyria-Syria and more) here have never assembled together as a coalition in history until now. These armies are currently stationed near Israel’s border in Syria and threatening to strike, just watch the news.  A prophecy that is not yet fulfilled is the complete destruction of Damascus in Isaiah 17. The city has been hit and some of it is destroyed from the recent conflicts but most of it is still a functioning city and base for the enemies of Israel. When spoke of in Isaiah till this recent conflict, it is intact.

4. The second coming of Jesus is not the Rapture of 1 Thessalonians 4:1-18 & 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, in which no man knows the hour or the day (Matthew 24:36). Even though we do know when it is near (Matthew 24:32 & Luke 21:25-33). However, those in the Tribulation (referred to as Tribulation saints) will know His second coming. The bible teaches that when the Tribulation starts, by the signing of the Firm Covenant between the anti-Christ and Israel (Daniel 9:27), people can search the time line (7 x 360 day years, according to God’s time set up in Genesis) of the events to happen.  According to Zechariah 14 the people in the Tribulation will know the location (Mount of Olives – vs4 KJV), season (no frost or cold – vs6 NIV) and approx. hour (evening – vs7 KJV) of Jesus’s 2nd coming.  So, to reiterate, those in the Tribulation will know the day, location, season and approx. hour of Jesus’s return to earth (2nd coming) not His prior coming to get His bride in the Rapture.  Revelation 4:1 is the last place that the current Church is mentioned until chapter 19. Again, not yet.

5. There will be two witnesses that preach for the first 3 ½ years (1260 days) that the world will see – Revelation 11:3-4. Then they will be killed by the beast. They will lay for 3 ½ days before being raised up in the presence of the world (T.V. computer etc., not hard to grasp). While they are laying dead the people will exchange gifts celebrating. That is until they see them rise, and then the terror will strike their hearts. The 7 Seals, 7 Trumpet and the 7 Bowl Judgements will be poured out on the earth as well. Some say that these are symbolic. To say that would be to say that the ten plagues on Egypt were also symbolic. The bible speaks of a 30-minute interval between the two halves of the Tribulation (Revelation 8:1). The 1st half is the Tribulation and the 2nd half the Great Tribulation. I cannot imagine how bad it’s going to be if even those in heaven are silent. The battle in the Valley of Megiddo in which Jesus will come (2nd coming) and step onto the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4), then the mountain splits. It talks about that the people will flee as when the earthquake happened in the days of Uzziah vs.5 (earthquake). In addition, in the same chapter (vs 12), it speaks about those that fought against Israel would have the flesh, eyes and tongues melted from them while still on their feet. We understand this can happen now because of our weapons of today or God may do this by His own Hand. This has never happened, yet. There will be a 200 million man army (China had that number in the 70’s) of Revelation (9:16). No army in the bible ever came close to that number of troops. The “New Jerusalem” in Revelation 21, that will be in Israel, gives specific measurements, approx. 1500 miles W/L/H (this is possible when there is a new heavens and earth) 72 yard thick walls, 12 gates, 12 foundations, the materials used to build it (by God of course) the names on the gates and foundations. Specific detail is given on its description. The video attached is a good one on “why there must be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture” By Pastor Jack Hibbs. https://youtu.be/8yBfHgx8d88

p.s. – Just wanted to put a handful of prophecies that have been fulfilled since 1948.

1. The rebirth of Israel, May 14th 1948. The only country in history that was destroyed and its people dispersed for almost 2,000 years, their language became dead and then re-established, then to be made a nation again in one day. Isaiah 66:8. Fulfilled. Israel re-taking Jerusalem from the gentiles after more than 1900 years.

2. Ezekiel 37:11-12, 21 Jews returning to their homeland. Being brought out of the other nations and returned back to Israel. Fulfilled and the planes are still coming filled with Jewish people from all over the world.

3. Isaiah 27:6 – Israel will fill the world with fruit. As of 10-15 years ago, this little area the size of Rhode Island became the 3rd largest exporter of fruit to the world. Fulfilled.

4. Joel 3:18 Israel would again plant Vineyards. Israel has planted massive vineyards and now produces some of the world’s best wine.

5. Isaiah 41:18-20 Talks about Israel planting forests. They took an area (1948) where it was barren dessert and turned it into lush forests. Take a look on google maps and see how Israel is now green and the surrounding Arab lands are still desolate. Fulfilled.

6. The bible also speaks of Israel’s oil. For a long time some thought it could have been referring to Olive oil, due to the small amounts of crude being brought out of Israel’s grounds. This was thought until just recently when one of the largest oil and gas fields was discovered. Now this tiny country is exporting. Again, this in fulfillment of biblical prophecy. These are just a few of the prophecies recently fulfilled and those being fulfilled, both presently and in the future.

I wanted to make a comment on the current events with the virus and the economy. There has been a push to a One World government since the time of Nimrod. I was going to go into detail on how this all falls into place for the End times that we are currently experiencing, but I’m going to put the site up of the pastor that does a great job explaining it better than I could. I wrote this sampling of the scripture in hopes that some will realize that we are in the Last Days and our time is short. How long, not sure, but we need to be watching and waiting for His return. Be out there giving the message of the hope that God gives redemption from our sins through Jesus. The Gospel which means the Good News. If you find yourself watching the Peace Agreement being signed with Israel, you are in the Tribulation. You can avoid this if you are saved before the Rapture, not after. We have put some of the details on the Pray5.org site for further study.
