To any true follower of Mormonism.

In my experience the Mormon’s that I’ve met are kind, honest, sincere and truly dedicated to their belief.  I desire for each to examine the KJV LDS bible version to see for yourselves who it says that Jesus is.

Using the KJV LDS version. please look at the following passages;

  1. John 1:1-3 / 14
  2. John 8:58
  3. John 10:30 /33
  4. John 20:28
  5. Hebrews 1:6-8
  6. Hebrews 13:8
  7. Isaiah 9:6
  8. Isaiah 44:6 / Revelation 1:8 /22:13
  9. Isaiah 44:10
  10. Psalm 90:1-2 (Creator from everlasting to everlasting) John 1:3 / Col 1:16 / Gen 1:1
  11. 1 John 5:7  Three are One – The Trinity

According to these verses in the KJV LDS version. Jesus is God/Creator.  Jesus in the Christian Bible is called God.  The KJV LDS refers to Him as both God in the above verses and then not in others.  Your LDS believe that Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer.  Also, That Jesus was created and not the Creator,  thus Christianity and Mormonism worship and put their salvation in two separate individuals.  This is a salvation issue, He is either God almighty as the bible says or a being created at birth.  Even the idea of his parents being married in heaven is discounted by the LDS KJV in Luke 20:34-35, no one will be married or given in marriage (source is the KJV LDS bible).

You already know that according to your Mormon faith, God was at one time a mortal man who had to be elevated after death by other gods and that according to your faith, there are many gods in the universe.  Also, that you strive to be a god.  The God of the Christian bible states that there are no other gods before or after Him- from eternity past to eternity future (Isaiah 43:10-13).  He claims to be the 1st and the last, that there is no other God but Him (Isaiah 44:6 – 8 / Isaiah 45:5-6, 14, 21-22, / Isaiah 46:9-10 / Revelation 1:8 / 21:6 /22:12-13) to name a few places.

There is no easy way to approach this issue except to be honest, and with the love of God.  Mormonism isn’t the only faith to claim to follow the same Jesus as the Christian’s, there are others.  The way I’ve found to investigate is to first search on the deity of Jesus Christ.  He’s God Almighty, according to the Bible.  If you don’t have the true Jesus (God) then you don’t have His forgiveness.
