What is a man.
- A man 1st & foremost thinks of others before himself.
- A man is designed and created by God to be a leader in his home.
- A man is not a brute or bully but someone who is a protector.
- A man, even if he is single, prepares to provide for his future family.
- A man takes care of his wife and family before himself
- A man is not determined by his occupation.
- A man keeps his promise, his word is his bond, because a man that breaks his word is not a man.
- A man teaches his children, it’s his responsibility to lead in the instruction of the children.
- A man puts his wife above all others, except God
- A man looks to the future on how to provide for his family
- A man goes to work
- A man is not a narcissist
- A man takes care of his kid(s) no matter if he’s single, divorced or married.
- A man protects not only his family but also those that are weak
- A man can be young or old
- A man who’s made mistakes, corrects them and tries to do better
- A man is a someone of truth, not a liar. A man of honor is not a liar.
- A man who has a wife, stays loyal in body and mind to her.
- A man that is single, stays loyal to his future wife and prays for her safety, asking God to prepare and protect her.
Point to ponder, a man wants a woman who is pure when he meets her, doesn’t she deserve the same?
We see all kinds of males who act in a manner that we think is manly but in reality they are just grown boys, playing a role that isn’t theirs. It doesn’t matter if you’re small or large, can bench 300lbs or play the violine, that matters not. What does matter is your heart. The way you treat others and take responsibility for your actions. A boy blames everyone else for their short comings and mistakes, never facing up to their actions and outcomes.
A man isn’t the one that is a rebel that wants nothing more than to attract a girl to treat as his personal toy.
We see females going to the rebel and guy who is a risk, that usually ends up being the one that is a user. Who sweet talks and gets what they want and then is gone, with no honor or integrity.
Men, shy away from those women who gravitate towards this type of male. If you are one of these types of males and wish to be better, start treating the woman in your life with value and honor.
Remember, we are to treat all women as sisters in Christ, for those who are born again. Treat a woman as you would treat your biological sibling, until married.
Saying that the marriage license is just a piece of paper, is a cop out. It shows commitment to her and your marriage. If you’re living with your girlfriend and want to be better, stop and marry her. Don’t give the worn-out excuses, that you haven’t had the time or looking for the time. You go to the game, fishing, workouts etc. etc. God will hold you personally accountable for how you are treating others, starting with how you treat your relationship with God first, then how you treat your wife and family then others, before yourself.
Go against the majority of males who pretend to be a man, by being a godly man who has the honor, integrity and the backbone to say that you aren’t interested in what the crowd says, but what God says about who a man should be. The crowd won’t be there on judgement day, God will.
