How do we know that we are not in the seven-year Tribulation yet?
God tells us in His Word how to know if we are in the Tribulation. 1 Thessalonians 4 lets us know that we as born-again believers (John 3:3) will be caught (Raptured) up in the sky. 2 Thessalonians 2 gives us the information that the Holy Spirit (the Restrainer) will be taken away before the anti-Christ is revealed. The Anti-Christ is the one who is used to start the seven-year Tribulation by the signing of the seven-year firm covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27). If we were in the Tribulation, then we would know the anti-Christ’s identity. Also, the people in the Tribulation will know the day, location, season and approx. hour of Jesus’s 2nd coming (Zechariah 14). The day and hour of the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4) is unknown (Matthew 24).
So, the day and hour is not known of Jesus’s coming to get His bride in the clouds, however, His 2nd coming is on the earth and will be known to those in the Tribulation. These are explained in Daniel 9:27, Zechariah 14, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and Revelation 4-19.
